Why is my digital camera screen purple when I take a pic?
My 5yo digital camera screen goes purple when I hold the button down to focus and take a pic. It will take a pic but it is all purple in the view screen even after the pic is taken. Has it had it and I need to replace it? Or is it worth fixing?
This is usually a result of the camera being stored near a strong magnetic field of some kind like on top of a television. Does this sound like a possibility?
If so, I believe it may clear up over time if you store it away from the magnetic field source.
