can i carry 3 digital cameras with me to delhi airport?
hi there,i m planning to visit india in the nxt couple of months n this is my frst ever visit frm new zealand.I hv got 3 digital cameras a laptop n one handy cam.Out of those 2 are brand new cameras n one i hv been using and the handy cam i hv got in free as a promotional offer.
can u please tell me that do i need to pay duty on these cameras n cam if yes than hw much???

Put two of them in checked in bag, and the third one you can have in pocket or the carry bag. Just dont have everything together in carry bag.
One more thing, If they find out you have a video cam, laptop and digital cam, just say these three items are mine and rest two i am giving as gift to someone, then u will have to pay duty on only those 2 digicam. in this case what maximum they can do is to put an entry to your passport that you carry these three personal items, if they put entry then you have to show them when you are going back that u are taking that stuff back, and that too if they bother to ask.
If nothing works, then 1. you have a bad luck 2. the obvious choice, (40-50 bucks)
