Solving equations using multiply cation or division
A wristwatch has a built in digital camera with a rectangular View finder . An image shown by the viewfinder consists of 6240 tiny rectangular dots called pixels. The viewfinder has 80 rows of pixels. How many columns does it have? and write the formula
2) ON july 1,2001, a Pennsylvania weather station detected an average of 80 lightning strikes per minute over a 24 hour period. Find the total number of lightning strikes detected during that time. Find the formula if there is one.

1) if you have 6240 dots (pixels) arranged in 80 rows then you must have 6240/80 columns. You can work out that last part I hope.
2) convert 24 hours to minutes: 24x 60. Now, every one of those minutes had 80 strikes, therefore (24×60)mins x 80 strikes/min = the total number of strikes. That’s some storm!
