I want to transfer a film that I have made onto DVD that can be watched by people in Canada.?
the film was made on digital camera, I have edited the film on imovie, but wish to send it to montreal for friends. how can i do this?
If you’ve made a DVD out of the movie, then, it’s in the vob format in either PAL or SECAM/MESECAM or NTSC. Older Candaian players would’ve taken only NTSC; but I think the modern players will play all formats. So, if you’re sending the DVD, it shouldn’t be a problem.
If you’re wanting to send the DVD as an e-mail, then, I’d suggest you first use your Windows Movie Maker to make it into a wmv file, which will be significantly smaller, and send it as that. Of course, you need to check out if your friends have the requisite software to read the file before doing this. Another option that you have is to send it as a imovie file, but then, again, you need to check out if they can read this first.
