Leica M7 price tag? Who buys these things?

I wonder. It’s undoubtably a beautiful camera. Wonderful camera system too. Great lenses but $5000. The Leica M’s were the darling of the photojournalists. But photojournalists are using digital SLRs now. So who’s paying $5000 for a camera body only?

Leica is like Gucci or Prada in europe now, they are bought mostly for the name…….
