Is it worth my time and money to send away a digital camera for repairs?

I turned on my Samsung digital camera, and the LCD screen lit up, but it looked like there was a rip or a tear inside the screen. Will repairs cost as much as replacement?

If you like the camera and want to keep it, then it is worth having it repaired. As for the time what i can say is the two camera repair places near me send the cameras out for repairs so doing it your self will be less timely then hooking up with the middle man and for the money, check precision camera because they give free quotes and then decided weather you will go through with it or not.
