what should I look for in a digital camera?
I want to buy an inexpensive digital camera for holiday snap shots. I’m no great photographer and not interested in it as a hobby. Although I do want to take fairly decent pictures. I don’t really understand the technical jargon. So any tips? thanks.

I assume you mean a compact camera rather than a DSLR with interchangable (and expensive) lenses, basically i’d say go with either any Canon Ixus or Nikon Coolpix camera.
Best advice I can offer you for cameras is go and have a play with several in the likes of Jessops – but for the love of god DONT buy there, they are expensive, there’s a very good website that lists best prices for cameras and camera equipment.

If you find the one you like, I guarantee you’ll find a better price for it there than in Jessops etc.
