Digital Cameras Iso Setting
What settings to reduce motion blur on a digital camera?
I have a Panasonic Luminx point and shoot with a ton of settings. I’m using high speed flash memory, but motion blur is still a problem. The auto-adjust only seems to work on stationary objects. Is the ISO setting important to work on this?
You don’t say which Lumix camera you have. The higher end Lumix cameras have extra settings. You can try use Sports mode as a first try. If your camera has shutter priority mode, use that. You can use a higher shutter speed to reduce motion blur. Something around 1/100 to 1/400 seconds may work for you.
If you’re close enough to your subject, you can use flash.
BTW, memory card speed doesn’t affect motion blur, just how fast the data gets written into the memory card.
