What should I get for my 14th birthday?
I asked for money and I usually get around $500-600 total from everyone and I’m thinking about buying a kayak. But I don’t know because I don’t know if there’s enough places to kayak where I live (Houston, TX). I do have a dog though and I thought that I should get some stuff for him but he already has pretty much everything he needs. I have a computer, a digital camera, an Ipod, and a TV. And I don’t want a gaming system or laptop. And I’m probably not going to donate to charity so don’t say that please. I’m not going to get any other types of animal either because my relatives don’t really like them. (I have enough trouble having them live with one dog lol they think animals are dirty.)
Open an account on etrade or sharebuilder, and turn 500 into three times that. Learn to invest, it’s the best gift you can give yourself. You’ll thank me when you’re older, because time is on your side right now. If you have to strain yourself to think of what you want, then just hang on to the money and let it earn you even more money.
