Digital Cameras High Megapixels
Digital cameras more versatile than tiny flat cameras, less expensive than digital SLRs?
I am getting back into photography again, and looking to purchase a good quality, used digital camera. Not yet affording a full SLR digital camera as they seem to start at mid $400 range.
Though those tiny, flat, matchbox looking digital cameras ( even though some have high megapixels ) are NOT what I want and need. I need a digital camera with more versatility, interchangeable lenses ideally, or at least good range of higher quality zoom capacity, quick response shutter, remote control shutter release, at least 10 megapixels, threads for lens filters, etc..
What cameras are good digital cameras that bridge the flat, fixed use ones and the very expensive, SLR digital cameras. Basically, my price range is maximum of @ $200, so am expecting to find a used one in this range.
What models, types of digital cameras would fit this use?

If you can change the lens, that would make it an SLR. And you already know the bottom end price is over $450….Just a used body with no lens would be over $200.
You may want to look at a Fujifilm Finepix S1500. It’s a nice little bridge camera you can find around $175. Not quite a SLR, but a step or two about those credit card size point & shoots.
