What to expect with iPod touch 3rd Generation?
Well, the new iPhone is bound for an update this summer, and rumour has it that updates include a 3.2 MP, video-capable camera, a glowing apple logo, OLED display, and digital compass with geotagging and higher capacities for the same price.
What can we expect for the next iPod touch release?
Personally, I think were going to see the same prices for higher capacities, Bluetooth (with 3.0, 2nd Generation iPod touches will have this too), and migration to OLED tech, with resulting improvements in battery life.
I’m hoping for a 2.0 MP camera, since the iPhone may get an update on that.

I saw a question 3 weeks ago about someone deciding whether to wait until the next iPod touch release to get one, and one person said it
might get 3G, another person doubted if a new one would be released in September since it’s only been a year; anyone with basic knowledge would know all that is BS.
What you said sounds about right.The OLED is probably a ways off through. I think they might get rid of the metal back…
