Synchronized digital camera shooting?
I’m trying to get a picture of my subject from different angles using several different “digital photo cameras” I don’t want to use camcorders, which are easier to synchronize due to lack of quality.
And well I heard that “Fuji” came up with a way to synchronize several cameras via WiFi and take a picture with all the cameras at once. But it was just a study in 2006 and I have not heard about it since, and I don’t think it has been marketed.
The question is if there is some other program or gadget that can link you cameras to do such miraculous task?
How do I make this shot possible using another method?

Well there’s a bunch of different ways to handle this. For the moment, I’m going to stick to Nikon, because that’s the system I’m most familiar with.
1) cable the cameras together. High-end Nikons can be cabled together using using 10-pin cables. Trigger one and all of them get the signal via the cable and go off.
2) Pocket Wizard system, wireless. They have cables which connect to the 10-pin port of higher-end Nikons, and then each camera can be triggered remotely via a radio signal.
3) IR. Nikon has cameras, like the D70/D70s which can be triggered via an infrared remote. The IR sensor is actually built into the camera! As long as the remote cameras can see the IR remote, they will all be triggered simultaneously.
I suggest the Pocket Wizard system. It sounds exactly like what you’re looking for.
Edit: I re-read your post and it sounds like you may be using lower end cameras. If so, then look for Canon point and shoot cameras which have an IR remote option. At that point, see #3 above.
