Is there a filter that can turn a digital camcorder from color to black and white?
My professor for a basic art survey course has set the frustrating criteria of no black and white if it is done in post production editing, yet we are allowed to use filters of any kind. All of the camera’s I have available to me are color and I need to use digital. Black and white is also essential to my storyline. Is there a filter that can fulfill my needs?
Since you didn’t tell us which if the cameras you have available, we have no way to know for sure… Most of the consumer camcorders I know have digital effects through the camcorder menu that allows a monochrome video capture. My Sonys and Canon do… You just need to dig a little past the surface.
