Digital Cameras Essay

Can anyone suggest any good examples of cameras lying?
I’m doing an essay on cameras being as capable as lying as typewriters, but can’t find any good examples not using digital manipulation. Can any suggest any? Something along the lines of a scene being set up, or been taken at a certain angle so something is deliberately left out.
I already have some examples with photoshop, but if anyone knows any really good ones please suggest them too.

Look at fashion and commercial photography. Then do some actual RESEARCH into the techniques PEOPLE employ to make the images. Last time I checked typewriters (word processors) and cameras did not lie any more than guns killed people. The individuals operating said devices did the work.
