I should buy this camera or not?

First and foremost: Fujifilm is perhaps the BEST company in regards to customer service and that comment is by personal experience.
Now on to your camera the Fujifilm Finepix S1600 , you don’t say who is selling it and for how much. I checked amazon.com and found a price of $160.00
I have also been following another model the Fuji Finepix S1800 which has a 18x zoom and sells for $152.00.
In my opinion the S1800 is probably about to be discontinued, hence the lower price with more features.
This brings up questions in my mind that I can’t answer, so I would suggest a call to Fuji and get the “skinny” between the two models. Armed with this information I don’t think either camera would be a bad decision- I say go for the model you like the best!
