Which Digital Camera?

I recently recieved a Kodak EasyShare M853. I was looking for a more High end camera. Now I’m looking at the Kodak EasyShare
Z812IS. Over 100 dollars I’ll have to pay after returning my camera. This new camera had great ratings Would it be worth it? If not, recommended another camera less than 300$ and must be at sears. I prefer quality over compactness.

I would also take a look of Canon S5 IS.
