Electrical Question relating to Amsterdam?
Im planning on taking GHD straighteners, digital camera and an Ipod. But Im not sure on which travel power adapter to take with me. Can anyone help me in telling me where to find one or even a picture so I know what Im looking for.
firstly, just buy a simple 3 to 2 pin plug (like the photo from Mal). You can buy ones with all kinds of plugs that fit worldwide, but this is good enough for mainland Europe and a lot cheaper!
You can buy it from any electrical retailers such as Dixons, Curries (do they still exist), PC World, or just the same local high street ones.
Otherwise, you can get them at the airport, but again, this would be more expensive to do.
EDIT – it;’s a good answer below, but not applicable in your case as you are from the UK and so on the same voltage as us here in the Netherlands. So the simple 3->2 pin adapter plug is sufficient
