Digital Camera – Home made AC Adapter?

I own a Pentax Optio E10 digital camera. It did not come with an AC Adapter but I wouldnt mind using one. I havent investigated the cost for one from the manufacturer but Im confident its overpriced. I do have several adapters from other electronic equipment around and wouldnt mind scavanenging from those to make my own adapter for the camera.

You would have to get the right voltage and get the wires right the 1st time cause there is no second time.I would buy one off ebay new or used they are a lot cheaper than the manufacturer’s
