!Do digital cameras have contrast/brightness settings right on the camera?!?
ok, I know digital cameras have options such as sunset, cloudy day, sepia, black and white, etc. but I can’t seem to find settings on the actual cameras (as I browse in the store) that allow you to mess with things like contrast, brightness, hue, saturation, sharpness, gamma, etc right on the camera itself.
I know you can edit these once you put pictures on a computer, but i want to be able to say, play around with the contrast and such right on the camera, after or preferably before taking a picture.

ps. i have had digital cameras before, but I’m looking for a newer one.
The Canon compact cameras usually have a setting for colors. Select that and scroll to the Custom colors. That will allow you to tinker with a few things. I usually turn down the contrast and sharpening. It will look dull straight out of the camera, but it gives me more room to make adjustments in software without adding artifact to artifact.
