Digital Camcorders Hard Disk
I’m looking for a good digital camera and camcorder in one.?
Till many years, still camera having a good resolution had limited memory and good camcorders had tapes / dvds and had very low still photo resolution.
Do we now have a best of both breeds having hard-disks or high capacity sd cards that is capable of having good resolution photos (for me I’m ok with 3Mega pixel and above) and 3 hrs of recording.
Please share your own camcorders experience. I was more leaning towards Sony.

Kodak Zi8 – It can take up to a 32 Gig SD card (so unlimited recording with a charged battery and an extra sd card), has face recognition, image stabilization, takes High Def 5 MP stills, and full 1080P video..and will fit in your pocket. Has a HDMI out that will hook directly into your high def tv via the included HDMI cable. It is pretty awesome. I have owned it for a few months.
