What kind of card do I need to record 30 minutes of footage..the one I have now is 512 mb and it doesn’t even hold 7 minutes…

You need to either get a huge 2GB memory card or lower the video capture resolution. Your owners manual should have a chart that indicates approximate record times at various settings with different size cards.

Canon PowerShot G1 X Digital Camera

Canon PowerShot G1 X Digital Camera

$799

Bright, fast and more creative than ever: advanced technologies come together for an exciting new camera that moves beyond anything the G-Series has seen before. The PowerShot G1 X digital camera will inspire advanced amateurs who have embraced the G-Series to explore new realms of photographic expression, and give pros an excellent camera that complements their creative demands. The new 1.5-inch High-Sensitivity CMOS sensor approaches an EOS DSLR’s APS-C sized sensor, with a light-sensitive area that’s approximately 6.3 times larger than that of the PowerShot G12 digital camera. The new 14.3 Megapixel sensor, combined with a new lens and DIGIC 5 Image Processor, creates the HS SYSTEM that delivers image quality previously impossible in a compact camera, with beautiful blur, lower noise, and extraordinary resolution in low-light shooting and can shoot at ISOs of up to 12800. The PowerShot G1 X also has 14-bit RAW capabilities for even greater creative control and Full HD Video recording. Manual settings and operability inherited from EOS cameras impart a high-level shooting experience, and open the door to new creative possibilities. Substantive luxury defines the design: a neatly clarified sculpture with a firm grip, huge Vari-angle LCD and optical viewfinder.

FUJIFILM FinePix S4200 14MP Digital Camera, 24x Optical Zoom, HD Movie Recording - Black

FUJIFILM FinePix S4200 14MP Digital Camera, 24x Optical Zoom, HD Movie Recording – Black

$329.99

The FUJIFILM FinePix S4200 Digital Camera bridges the gap between the point-and-shoot and DSLR realms in a number of ways. It’s compact, yet features a useful hand grip. It boasts a 24x optical zoom lens, an electronic viewfinder, and a 3.0″ LCD, among other great attributes – including 1280 x 720 high definition video capture. At the same time, the S4200 keeps things simple in small ways, such as AA alkaline battery power and a super-fast start-up time of 1.8 seconds. The Fujinon 24x optical zoom, 24-576mm wide angle zoom lens gives you the flexibility to shoot close-up or super telephoto, capturing distant subjects with ease. The lenses’ Super EBC coating – the same process used for Fujinon broadcasting video lenses and large format pro cameras – reduces ghosting and lens flare, for clean, crisp images. The aforementioned 24x zoom also utilizes a 42-step electronic powered zoom control for smooth transitions. Additionally, in macro, the lens can capture subjects as close as 2cm (0.7″). Of course the S4200 also packs in all the great simplicity of a point-and-shoot with its many auto modes and functions. Six Scene SR AUTO modes – including Portrait, Landscape, Night, and then some – along with a bevy of other options, take the guesswork out of shooting, giving you great images each time you shoot. Another example of a great function of the S4200 is the Natural Light and With Flash function, a mode that takes both a natural light image and one with flash, as the name so aptly suggests. When you can’t decide which way to go, shoot both. Save both images or only keep the one you like best. Either way, you’ll get to see the image both ways and decide for yourself. When you’re finished shooting – whether you captured stills or videos – FUJIFILM makes it easy to share your memories. There’s the option to tag files in-camera for instant social media sharing upon connection to a computer, and there’s the MyFinePix Studio which automatically searches for new images to upload when you connect the camera to your computer as well. Additionally post-production functions include Photobook Assist and a number of useful playback options like Micro Thumbnail View, slideshow, and red-eye removal.

Sigma 50-200mm F4-5.6 DC OS HSM For Canon Bonus kit

Sigma 50-200mm F4-5.6 DC OS HSM For Canon Bonus kit

$227.55

The Sigma Corporation is pleased to announce the new 50-200mm F4-5.6 DC OS HSM. Compact, High Performance Telephoto Zoom Lens. This compact high-performance telephoto zoom lens incorporates Sigma?s own Optical Stabilizer function. The lens incorporates SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass in the front lens groups and is equipped with an inner focusing system to provide high image quality throughout the entire zoom range. The incorporation of HSM (Hyper-Sonic Motor) ensures quiet and high-speed auto focus. The OS (Optical Stabilizer) function effectively eliminates the effects of camera shake so subjects can be easily and clearly seen in the viewfinder as well as in the image. It allows the use of shutter speeds up to 4 stops slower than normal for steady, handheld photography. For Sony and Pentax mounts the built-in OS System allows the photographer to see the stabilized image in the viewfinder and can be used as an alternative with cameras having built-in image stabilization. The Super Multi-Layer Coating reduces flare and ghosting and provides high contrast images throughout the entire zoom range. This lens has a minimum focusing distance of 43.3inches (110cm) throughout the entire zoom range and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:4.5. An inner focusing system eliminates front lens rotation, making it suitable for use with circular polarizing filters.
