Canon Prosumer Camcorders

Postpro PixelShift (SD 576p–>HD 720p)?
I’ve read that some prosumer HD camcorders (Panasonic AG-HMC151) work with sensors of 960×540 pixels and still get nice-looking 720p50 HD footage. Is it possible to do this with an SD camcorder in the postpro, too? After Effects?
I’m speaking of an old Canon XM2 (GL2 overseas)…
thanks for helping me
No – the HD resolution is produced by pixel shifting. You can’t apply it after you’ve shot the footage.
