Canon Digital Cameras Zoombrowser
Do I need all those Canon programs that come with my camera?
That disc that came with my Canon camera gave me all these extra programs, I just want to know which ones I can uninstall, because they take up a lot of room. Here they are:

Probably not but you know what, why don’t you just experiment with each one to find out exactly what it does before uninstalling it.
I use one part of my Canon software to tether my t1i and my XS to my laptop when I’m shooting portraits because that allows me to see the photo on a bigger screen instantly. That’s the only program I use.
Experimenting would be your best bet. Then if you know you don’t need it, uninstall.
