Which camera should I buy?
I’m not much of a photographer but I’m looking to buy a new camera. My old camera (just a basic Sony Cyber-shot) is about 5-6 years old and I’ve lost the charger for it.
These are the two I’m looking at at the moment…

I like the Canon one the best, but I’m not really looking to spend that much, unless it’s going to be amazing!
Or should I go something else?

ok i own an olympus fe 4030 and for me it is perfect, its tiny and has the features i need and more. the olympus has macro and super macro like the other cameras but not as good.
ok if you want a camera that is good for super macro and taking professional images and things like that then your choices would be for the first two.
the second one (Canon poweshot) is good for both ordinary images and close ups and effective images,
if you want a bit of everything i suggest the olympus.
it has some effects, magic filters, 14 mega pixels, great battery life (lasted 6 weeks with me on the third bar) and it can capture fast movement. i dont know how well the other camera’s opperate but check the other answers and their experiences and see what you think..
