Canon Camcorders Review
Canon ZR950?
I am planning to buy a new camcorder soon. I was wondering which I should get. I am on a budget (less than $350 if possible), and the Canon ZR950 seems really good, but there are currently no reviews on it yet. I also like the optical zoom on it (48x). I prefer to go with Canon, but I am willing to purchase from any other brands too. Does anyone know of any good camcorders within $200-400 with good video quality?
Any suggestions???
Thank You!!!
I recently bought a Canon ZR930, and really like it. These two are practically the same in video quality. The 930 is nice in that it has an external microphone jack, so I recommend you grab one of these if you want that feature. I believe the 950 can take still photos, but they usually aren’t very good quality. These are practically the same price, if I remember right.
The zoom is great. The picture is crisp even zoomed in to the max if you are at the right distance. Regular recording may struggle in shadow/dark conditions, but you won’t be filming in these conditions much probably, so it’s to be expected.
I like Canon too, I’d stick with them. Hope that helps you.
