Camcorders With Av Inputs
What cheap camcorders have AV-in recording and a Sd-card expansion slot?
I am looking for one that can record a direct signal through a AV cable and a SD card expansion slot. Preferably for under $100.
This is something that seems to be impossible to search as Google just searches for the included “AV cable” that comes with camcorders when I search for terms like “direct recording with camcorder”, “av-in”, etc… But, camcorder specifications never seem to say if a camcorder can record directly from a input source. They just say it has a AV cable. Which doesn’t help since it doesn’t say if it’s in or out.
So, does anyone know of any camcorders that have AV-in recording? Thanks, I appreciate it.
This question comes up at least once a week, there is nothing around in that price range, you can go to the prosumer ranges 1000+ and there are a couple but none that I know record to a flash drive. there were some tapebased camcorders a few years ago that you could use but for some reason they dont make them anymore,
A/V on 99% of camcorders is out only, If you want it to capture from an analogue source then you will need to get a analogue to digital converter. for a cheap one they start at about 10$ on amazon.
The kodac does not have inputs read the specs
