Camcorders Video To Dvd
Difference Between Video Camcorders?
I want to get a video camcorder but I see there is many different kinds.
DVD, Hard Disk, Mini DV, Digital8 & Hi8
Can someone tell me the main differences, and which would best fit my needs.
My needs = something I can record video events with alot of record and then stop, record and then stop. Transfer the files to my pc into video format and then possible burn to DVDs.

If you plan to edit you videos, then mini-dv is probably the best way to go. If you plan to transfer the videos to DVD as is (with minimal editing), then you might consider a HDD (hard disk drive) camcorder.
