camcorders video tapes
What’s the best cable to transfer hi-8 video to dv tapes, using camcorders?

I tried transfering video from a Sony analog camcorder to a Canon MV850i camcorder, using AV out and AV in, but the transfered image has a bar across the bottom and is poor quality. I think my cable may not be right. It’s a 3.5mm cable (male/male) that I’ve used for audio, but I don’t know if it’s designed for video.

try to use S-video cable instead for image and those a/v cables for sounds.

Simple test for my new HD video camcorder
