Difference in these camcorders? Mini DVD or standard? Need opinions please!?
I’m leaning towards the regular DVD but would like more info. on the Mini DVD one. Plus it’s about $50 cheaper. Thoughts anyone? Quality better in one then the other?

Please do not waste your money or your time on a DVD based camcorder. Especially if you have any plans to get that video into your computer or if you want to edit and upload.
In this case, you will get what you pay for. There is a reason they are so cheap.
If your computer has a firewire port, then look at miniDV tape based camcorders. Sony DCR-HC52,, DCR-HC62; Panasonic PVGS320; Canon ZR900, ZR930, ZR950, ZR960.
If your camcorder has no firewire port, then a camcorder that does flash memory – Canon FS100 (among several others.
DVD based standard definition camcorder barely make useful doorstops and should NEVER be used to capture video footage…
