Does anyone know if Radios are legal in High School Football?
I’m a first year varsity head coach, the team I am taking over is 1-10 in the past 2 years. Our team is physically outmatched by every opponent, but if there is one thing we can get an edge on its game planning, scouting, and playcalling. It is a small school who play D2 in Ontario, Canada. I have a 1 way QB radio so I can run a flawless hurry up offence, but do not know if it is legal. I do not want to ask the officials or another football coach in my region because I’m afraid they will use it to. Anyone who can give me the answer or even some good tips for getting an edge? I’m trying to stay ahead of the crowd, for the last 2 weeks of last season I brought 3 camcorders, and scouting software to about 4 games and managed to get tape on every team. (Our old head coach wouldnt allow the software or tapes). Also does anyone know of the rules as far as practice and training go?
