Are all shotgun microphones compatible with all video camcorders?
Of course not. Check the connector of your microphone. if it can be attached to the camera you are using you should be able to use it. Shotgun mics normally has unbalanced balanced cords (3 wires inside). The connector is relatively bigger with three prongs (pins).
