Camcorders Financed
Has anyone ever does business with a place called Peach Direct? Catalog with laptops/dvd/camcorders, etc.?
It’s kind of like Fingerhut used to be, pre-approved for a certain dollar amount. We thought it was a good idea and ordered a laptop (at a very comparable price I might add)..and it has been a nightmare since. They financed it through GE MONEY BANK, who has already paid Peach Direct now, so in turn, we have received a bill (due yesterday) and STILL no product. This, after 13 emails (not one response from Peach Direct), and five phone calls, each time speaking with a different supervisor and getting a different answer. I mailed a letter to the CEO (probably will never get it) ~ and am at the end of my rope now! We will take care of this ourselves, no problem…just curious if anyone had done business and gotten screwed by them before? (We ordered December 19, 2006 ~ they said it would be here in two weeks).
