Camcorders Extended Batteries
Is the 2 year extended service plan for a JVC GZ-MG750 Everio Hard Drive Camera worth it?
I am buying this as a Christmas present, but I’m not too good with knowing the specs on camcorders. In addition, I hear that the battery life on it is not very well too, is a extra battery necessary for casual usage?
Any camera with a HDD should have some sort of extended service plan or insurance, (you may be able to get the same cover from a normal insurance company, a lot cheaper)
Many HDD cameras are having problems with the HDD only after a year or so, they don’t like “normal”use, they wont take the knock that other cameras will take, such as Flash drive, and tape.
Most batteries last for around 90 minutes, normally enough for some people, but many just hit record and capture everything they can, (Oh those awful holiday videos) 10 minutes of little Pete, playing with sand.
If you think you need another battery, then get one, its always useful to have a backup, just in case, make sure it has a higher capacity then the original.
