Camcorders Compatible With Apple
Camcorders and macs compatibility?
I’ve been shopping around for a camcorder (with still camera capabilities) and found the sony sx44 and really like it. However, It says it’s not compatible with mac which is a problem for me. I wanna use it with imovie. Is there any way to get around this or does anyone have any suggestions for nice camcorders that aren’t over $300?!

sony camcorder produces files in avchd format which is not compatible with Mac, if u want to use it in imovie, u will need to convert to imovie accepted MPEG-4 (MP4, M4V), MPEG-2, DV, HDV, MOV files, u may as well try this one when possible
