CMOS vs. CCD any comparison?
I see alot of cheap digital cameras and camcorders on ebay that, when you dig a little deeper, have CMOS sensors. Can a high resolotuion CMOS chip (say 6mp uninterpolated) compete with a comparable CCD or are they always inferior?
First of all, forget any camera that uses interpolated, they are toys.
CMOS and CCD sensors have been around for a long time and both produce excellent images.

In the end, you can only go by how well a camera works when you are shooting it. No one type sensor can guarantee a good image. It is the 12 inches behind the camera that counts.
