Can you please tell me which one you think is best and why? I always thought that Canon were better with camcorders out of Sony, Panasonic and other leading brands in that area.

It’s more about basic picture quality for the price, if that helps.
I have 3 camcorders, a JVC, a Sony,& a Panasonic. Out of the 3 the JVC beats the other 2 hands down on ALL counts, I;ve had it for over 5 years & it has never let me down so take the advice of an old man that has over 60 years experience of all types of photography,movie making & audio.
