Camcorders?
Hey I live in Australia and am so confused about which camcorders are good and which are bad. I want to get one very soon but don’t know which one to get. There are so many types, some look cheap, stale and plastic and some look solid and strong. I went down to dicksmith electronics the other day and personally looked at camcorders. When i opened one of the side lcd screens it felt all cheap and plastic like, as if it were going to break. Bottom line is which is the best camcorders to get under say…$500..im not looking for a very expensive one, just a convenient one with all the good functions. And one that looks/feels quality and will LAST. Thanks.
frankly for that price point most cams will feel cheap and plastic. have a look at anything that’ll do the following:
16:9 wide screen recording.
seperate audio inputs (external 3.5mm jack)
mini dv is a must. still cheaper and better than other formats.
panasonic seems to feel more cheap than the canon and sony models.
