Are the new HDV camcorders broadcast quality? What is better 3ccd or HDV?
The amount of CCD’s has nothing to do with it being HDV or not.
If it says 3CCD then it will produce better colour reproduction than if it does not say 3CCD. Unless you know what you are doing, you probably won’t notice the difference.
HDV refers to the recording format, ie, it records in HD rather than standard definition you would get with miniDV or whatever…
