Boom Microphones For Camcorders
Why do voices sound different when recorded on video?
How come every time I record myself on video my voice sounds totaly different? It’s squeaky and deep! Some people say it does sounds like a steroid girl’s voice, and others say their voice is different on video and moine sounds just fine and kind of the way I really talk, but it doesn’t!
Are all camcorders like that, or just some? Why do they make are voices sound way different? Should I use one of those shotgun microphones or boom mics for now on, or should I find a better camera? Are Hi-Def cameras any good at recording better sound?

When you talk, you hear your voice trough your ear bones as a direct vibration, that make it sound deeper. When recorded you hear the voice other people hear when you talk.
