Best Skateboarding Camcorders

I have a question about camcorders. (people experienced with editing videos answer plz)?
Is Mini Dv or or Hard drive camcorders better for filming slow slowmoving action such as skateboarding then editing it using a software that will be baught from best buy/
The recording media will not be better or worse for slow motion, but HDD will be much better for editing in general Mini DV’s are kind of a pain, whereas the HDD will just connect and you can transfer the vid files straight from it, format, and keep recording.
