Whats the best camcorder on the market regardless of price and why?
I’m a keen filmmaking hobbyist.
There are numerous cameras you can buy. I prefer using MiniDV tapes as they are very good quality videos and can utilize digital outputs such as Firewire.
There are low end models such as the one I have which is a JVC GR-DVL20.
I’ve heard that the Panasonic DVX100 is a brilliant camcorder. Its MiniDV too and gives excellent high resolution, high quality sound and video output. Though these retail quite high at about $600 for a used one.
Lower end models can be quite cheap and still be very good.
Other camcorders such as DVD cameras are quite expensive but are well worth the money.
