What happens if you have a camera with high ISO sensitivity and you take most of your pics in high light?

Does that make the picture that much more clear? Or will it offset the light and make whites blurry? I’m trying to figure out the best digital camera for my needs. I am thinking that I will take pictures both outside and inside. Plus I want high resolution. Any suggestions?
