Going on holiday in the next few weeks and want a camcorder. It will also be used for YouTube aswell. I managed to find these cameras on

Change the filters if you like but remember I need to put these videos on my computer and dont really want to go above £199.
I would go with the Sony DCR-HC24E. I have used the American version of this camera and it produces nice good quality video ( for the price ) without having the user select any settings. It has an auto or easy ( don’t remember what it is called exactly) button that sets all of the setting on the camera automatically and does a fair job at it too. This camera also has in my opinion good low light / Night modes which would be good if you would be filming anything in the twilight hours. Another benefit to this camera is the 20x OPTICAL zoom. This means that you can zoom to the full 20x and unlike a digital zoom, not distort the image. This is good if you are further away form something that you want to video tape. Plus with the bu it in DV aka Firewire aka IEEE 1394 port it is simple to upload the video onto the computer. Overall the automatic and low light settings of this camera make it an excellent choice.
