Best Camcorders $500
I want to get a camcorder (preferably a Canon), suggestions?
I make short films for my Media class and I have to go through painful editing to make it look professional and HD looking with my current crappy Sony camcorder…
Anyhow, a friend of mine has a Canon HG10 camcorder and I fell in love with it! Sad thing is, it’s expensive and I can’t really afford it or even save up enough (When I went to Best Buy and whatnot there was some HG10 and they were around 1,200 dollars!). Are there any other Canon camcorders that have great HD quality (like the HG10) and cost a lot less? Preferably between $300-$500? I also really want one where you can adjust the focus on it very easily without buying a bunch of expensive lenses…
I’m never buying from Sony ever again, they have expensive camcorders with the crappiest quality!
I use a Canon GL2, It’s not technically HD but it uses 3CCD’s and has amazing clarity. Check on finding them on eBay. Also see XL1. Of course there are a bunch on the market now. BTW, I happen to really like Sony.
