$1000 Camcorders
Does anyone know of a cheep way to play Mini DV tapes and view them on a TV or DVD player?
I know sony makes a stand alone player $1000.00 ( or maby a player/recorder for mini DV tapes. I think Tandon may also make one ( more Bux ) but I dont know if its compatable with tapes made on Sony or other MiniDV camcorders . I would rather not use an old camcorder to play the tapes . Help

Generally the easiest way is to use a camcorder, I don’t know why you would be against it. We have JVC mini DV to Svhs dual decks at work but they can be fussy sometimes. (We get dropped audio and video when we capture sometimes)
Not much help I know but, in my personal business, I intend to purchase a cheap mini dv camera and use it as a deck.
